... INTO THAT HEAVEN OF FREEDOM, MY FATHER, LET MY COUNTRY AWAKE!

Month of August we celebrate Independence Day of our Great Nation & Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary

O Heart of love, I put all my trust in Thee; for I fear all things from my own weakness, but I hope for all things from Thy goodness.

     Our Archbishop's Message

August 15 can rightly be called a day dedicated to freedom in the full sense of the term because it commemorates both the Assumption of our Blessed Mother into heaven and the Independence of our beloved motherland. The former celebrates the eternal freedom without which political freedom has no meaning and the latter is the anniversary of the political freedom of our country which is an indispensable dimension of God's Kingdom.

Engagements-September

      Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
